Whipped cream.

Yesterday, me and my family finally got to celebrate my past birthday. Since I had to work on the actual day, my mum decided to make up for it with a cake (two of them, actually) and invite everyone over.

I can actually say, that my inspiration for the outfit was the cake itself. :D

I don't really get along with people these days...how about you?
But I do get lucky with other things, like shopping for an example. I just got this H&M leather jacket on sale for 20€ - that is half price. Last one and my exact number. #fuckyes

This Tuesday I went to Ljubljana, our capital. It was my friend's birthday party and we also got to toast on mine, since we are both born in April, just a few days apart. Other than being drunk, I took my time to shop a bit and I got quite a few things, including this awesome oversized sweater from H&M. I knew it would be one of my favourite pieces the moment I tried it on in the changing room. I adore pepita print and I just want to wear this all the time now. Third day in a row, actually.

It's my birthday today. :) I just turned 21 and I'm really excited, not so much about the number itself, but about all the new things that are coming to me, I am satisfied with where I am in my life right now and I am aspiring to more. I hope to achieve great things this year, be successful in my path, give love and be happy and enjoy as much as I can, so I can always continue to say that I have no regrets.

And also, a big thank you to all of you who are a part of this blog in whichever way that is. xxx

I wish I had more pictures of this outfit to choose from as it was one of those that just happen and also happen to be your favourite. But as usual, no camera equals shit and as the theme reminded me of minimalism, I didn't want to spoil everything by including too many pics.
I still wanted to post them on the blog, it's just that to me this whole thing appears as more of a visual than fashion treat. I might put them on my Tumblr to give them at least a little bit of the justice.

DIY: Fringed Top

A very simple DIY I did a while ago. I got my hands on this top, that my brother didn't seem to wear anymore. It looked interesting itself, but it needed to get even better, so I did this.

I first cut the sleeves off a bit, then the collar line and the bottom of the top. Then I started cutting the fabric to about 1cm wide fringes. It takes a while, but it's not a big deal. When I finished cutting it, I pulled on each one to make them look more loose and natural and if you want to you can also shorten them up by lenght, because they can seem pretty long (just try it on while you're altering it).
